Hi, I'm Dave.

I spent more than ten years in the music industry, playing in bands, recording albums and touring across the UK. Being so close to it all meant I saw the same problem come up again and again. Artists were putting out strong music, but often struggled to promote it properly because there were so few motion graphics designers creating visuals that really suited music projects.

Things shifted when a local band asked me to help with a lyric video for one of their singles. Working on that project made the gap in the market impossible to ignore. There was clear demand for high-quality, bespoke visual content, and not many people offering it in a way that truly understood what artists needed.

That was the starting point for Cloud Motion Design. I wanted to bring together my background in music and my passion for design to create something that genuinely helped artists present their work in a stronger, more engaging way. Since then, the business has grown steadily and has now worked with more than 1,000 customers, including bands, labels and other industry professionals. Today, Cloud Motion Design has built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading names in music-focused motion graphics.
