Official lyric video work for Canadian technical death metal band Archspire.

The release

“Acrid Canon” appears on Bleed the Future, released by Season of Mist. The label later featured the lyric video and credited its creation to Cloud Music Typography, the former name of Cloud Motion Design.

The visual approach

For a track this fast and technically dense, the lyric treatment needs to keep pace without sacrificing readability. The finished piece combines animated typography and artwork-led motion into a visual built specifically around the intensity of the track.
