Lacuna Coil — The House of Shame Lyric Video

Lyric video work for Italian metal band Lacuna Coil.

The release

“The House of Shame” opened Lacuna Coil’s 2016 album Delirium, released through Century Media Records. Contemporary coverage of the single credited the lyric video to Cloud Music Typography, the former name of Cloud Motion Design.

The visual approach

The project translated the release artwork and the track’s darker atmosphere into a moving visual built around the song rather than a reusable template. Typography, pacing and compositing work together to support the music and its existing visual identity.
