Monuments — Origin of Escape Lyric Video

Lyric video work for progressive metal band Monuments.

The release

“Origin of Escape” appears on The Amanuensis, released by Century Media in 2014. The lyric video was created by Dave Minall under Cloud Music Typography, the former name of Cloud Motion Design.

The visual approach

The track’s technical, progressive character called for motion that could follow its shifts in pace while keeping the lyrics central. The result uses animated typography and release-led visual treatment rather than generic audio-reactive graphics.
